Sereno turns the Slack messages you owe a reply to into a ranked to-do list.

It runs in your Mac's menu bar. It reads the conversations you are already in, works out which messages are actually waiting on you, and ranks them. Clicking one opens it in Slack.

Sereno is a Slack helper, not a Slack alternative. It notices what you owe and puts you one click from the right message. Slack keeps the conversation. There is no replying from the app, and no AI-drafted replies.

The ranking runs on Apple's on-device model, so your messages are read on your own Mac. There is no Sereno server. Nothing is collected.

Named after the serenos, the night watchmen of Spanish cities from 1715 to the 1970s, who called out the hour and the weather. Las dos y sereno. Two o'clock and clear.

Requirements

macOS 26 or later, and a Mac that supports Apple Intelligence. You connect your own Slack account. Sereno asks for read-only permissions and cannot post anything.
